Elegant Touch Review
Hey, I haven't been feeling too inspired lately to write anything for about a week so I'm sorry I haven't posted much. Just didn't see much point if I wasn't feeling it! But any way I'm back with a review on Elegant Touch stick on nails.
Now I am not someone who uses stick on nails that much at all, It took me forever to stop biting my nails and then forever trying to get them long and strong, so I normally I would just paint them but I felt like a change and I didn't know of any other way to get the metallic effect on my nails as I quit liked the idea of how they looked. I had seen these Elegant Touch nails several times in Superdrug but I always had a little look and carried on walking but one day I spotted these particular ones. Rose Gold. Well as if I was going to pass up the opportunity to have rose gold metallic nails...
In each pack you get 24 nails, and they come in 10 different sizes which I think is really good for the price of £7.95. I found that I ended up using nails of different as some of my nails are wider than others. These nails were super easy to apply which is great for me as i'm not great at this kinda of thing, I know some people find it easier to apply the glue directly onto the fake nail, but I found It much easier to apply the glue onto my own nail. The glue dries super quick I found that within 30 seconds they weren't going to budge anywhere so I could get on with my evening. Also these nails are a perfect length, this is something that I was concerned about, weather they would be too long or not.? But these are perfect for me.
On this particular day I applied these nails just before going out for a few drinks with some friends, so I knew my nails wouldn't endure anything too strenuous. In the space of 10 mins (leaving my flat and arriving at my friends house) 2 nails had already bent.... I was fairly annoyed but I just thought i'll file them down and even them out when i get home... by the time I got home that evening 2 more nails had snapped at the corners and I hadn't done anything that was likely to break or damage them, so at this point I was fairly frustrated but I made the best out of a bad situation. I filed them down, and clipping away any edges that had snagged.
I ended up only having these nails on for about 3 1/2 days, the staying power of the glue was great, I struggled to get them off. I would have kept them on longer, but after filing them down and clipping at them they just didn't have the "Elegant Touch" anymore.
I'm not certain I would purchase these particular nails again, but I think I would be willing to try a different style, simply because I have heard so many amazing things about this brand!! Maybe i'll go for something a little simpler next time..
Let me know in the comments if you have tried Elegant Touch nails, I would love to hear how you got on with them!!
Thanks for reading!!
