Hair Cutie Review
Hey there lovelies!!
A few months back I was contacted by a brand called Hair Cutie and they were kinda enough to send me their product, so I thought I do a quick little review for you. Hair Cutie is a 100% natural treatment hair oil to be used a hair mask and can be used 2-3 times a week. They say it promotes hair growth and strengthens.
First impressions: Packaging to me is a big thing with products, I couldn't tell you why but it is. When I got my Hair Cutie I expected it to be in a glass jar but it was plastic, but that's ok it's not a deal breaker. It was a little battered by the time it got to me and I know that's not by fault of the brand but the courier service. The packaging it's self is simple and I love that, it's a lovely shade of green with white text.
The actual product, I don't really know how to feel about it in all honesty. Did I like it? yes I did.. Would I buy it?.. I'm not sure that I would , at £21 for 200g I feel its quite steep for a hair oil plus your delivery charge.. especially when I can buy organic coconut oil for £15 for 400g...
The texture of the oil feels fairly grainy, I'm guessing this has something to do with how many oils have been packed into the product and how they are processed? The smell was a little off putting if i'm honest, I very nearly didn't even use it for that reason alone. I don't know how to describe it, but i'm not a fan. I found it to be a thick oil which made it rather hard to wash out, i'm use to washing oil out of my hair I quite often use oil as hair masks but this was by far the most difficult I didn't think I was going to get it all out! I also had to avoid putting it any where near my roots as it made my hair super greasy even when it was all washed out.
But did it work?.. Yes it did, my hair was noticeably softer and shinier after using it and yes my hair felt stronger and healthier. For me personally I feel there are more cons for this product than Pros..
